Frequently asked questions
Can I download YouTube comments for free?
Yes. TXT and HTML are available without an account up to 50 comments per download. A free account adds CSV, Excel, and JSON within a 100-comment monthly quota.
Why are some exports paid?
Larger exports use more YouTube API quota and server resources, so limits and plan checks keep the product sustainable.
Do I need to install anything?
No. The downloader runs in the browser and does not require a Chrome extension for normal exports.
